Hello, beautiful people!
We are already in October, which is my favorite fall month. September flew by so fast and it was good. So it's time to sum up what I loved last month, what inspired me, and what I've learnt.
1. Website of the month.
Now, it's not a new favorite as I've been using it for a few years now. But I really wanted to share in case you don't have a convenient way of following all of your favorite blogs.
With Feedly you have all of your content sources in one clean looking blog with modern design. You can add new blogs, separate them into the categories, and read some of the articles never leaving the Feedly website.
This is how my personal Feedly looks at the moment. One the left you can see my categories and a home page shows you the most popular content within those categories. When you click on each one, you will see a list of articles that have been recenly published by your favorite content creators. Easy and cool!
2. Hobby of the month.
In September I became a lucky winner of Get Messy 1 year membership. This event made September a magical month when it seemed like anything could happen. I am very grateful to be a happy member of this beautiful community!
If you wonder what Get Messy is, here's a short summary of this art program:
"Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like
minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past
our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Our community values consistent creating, encouragement and suppport and
trying new things. "
If you want my opinion so far - I would definitely recommend joining the community if you are into art, journaling, creativity, and learning new things!
3. Song of the month.
Maitre Gims feat Sia - Je te pardonne. I don't know what it is about this so that mesmerizes me so much, but I listened to it non-stop all September. And even created an art journal page inspired by it (you can see it here if you are interested).
4. Experience of the month.
Definitely my trip to the mountains! My friends and I took a road trip to Karpacz, Poland to conquer the mt. Sniezka. It was cold, wet, exhausting, difficult and very cloudy/foggy climb. But it was worth it!
5. Inspiration of the month.
I've been really inspired by work of Sasha Martinez from IG account @othersashas. Ifyou are into collaging and art journaling, you should definitely check her out. Her work is authentic and very inspiring!
6. Style of the month.
Fall fashion is awesome. Love that this time around you can layer clothes, wear soft neutral colors and cozy scarves. These are the examples of where I tried to go with my style this September and autumn in general. Three words for my fall style: casual, minimalistic, sensual.
I have a whole style inspo Pinterest board, if you are interested!
7. Favorite purchase of the month.
My Only tan hat (similar). I've been wanting a hat for years, but was too shy to wear it. Hence, I just stayed clear of buying any so they don't collect dust in my closet. This month I ventured into the hat world and bought one. Now, I want a black one too... and maybe a grey one, and a forest green! lol
The secret to wearing a hat when you are not too comfortable with this idea is to find an actual practica reason to wear it. For example: "It's drizzling and a hat will protect my hair"; or "I have a bad hair day, and the hat will cover it". Stuff like that helps you justify wearing a hat until you get used to it and start wearing it just for pleasure.
That's it for September! Hope you enjoyed it and found some interesting links. What are some of your September favorites? Please, share in the comments below. I would be so excited to read them!
Thanks for stopping by. See you soon!
