For the past 3 weeks I have been feeling all over the place about my art. I was inspired and blocked, creative and blank, lacking ideas and urge to create. I guess, the time like this comes to all artists from time to time, doesn't it?
So, while fighting my own demons, I've missed a couple of weeks of posting my Get Messy pages on the blog. So, let's catch up, shall we?
Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Our community values consistent creating, encouragement and support and trying new things. I totally recommend Get Messy Art Journal if you are feeling creative and want to get into the habit of making art.

This page was created during and after watching Amy's Get Messy webinar. I really loved the part where she talked about your inner critic. Amy said about seeing it as part of yourself and rather than being angry with it, feeling compassion.
